MEDIA EMPOWERMENT POLICY

All registered media may tape Saturday and Sunday education and strategy sessions, except those designated otherwise by the presenters or activists as not open for taping. The keynote presentations on Friday and Saturday night will be recorded only by contract with the conference sponsors. Therefore, no cameras or recording devices will be allowed in the ballroom during keynote presentations. Those presentations will be made available on DVD for purchase at the conference (inquire at Registration Table).

Press/Media passes will be included in the price of registration. In order to receive these passes, participants will be required to register as such with 911truth.org and sign an agreement acknowledging acceptance of this Media Policy. Passes must be worn at all times during the conference.

911truth.org strongly encourages anyone interested in being the media to record these sessions. Participate in making the message! There will be approximately 50 hours of education and strategy presentations. To the extent possible, we will facilitate the distribution of video and audio shot at the event. We would appreciate media pass holders sharing their footage, and/or subsequent productions of conference events with 911truth.org, and will select submissions for inclusion on the conference multimedia page.

The conference sponsors retain the copyright to any audio and video recorded during the conference*, as licensed under the following Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License:

You are free:
--to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work
--to make derivative works
--to make commercial use of the work

Under the following conditions:

Attribution. You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor, as follows:

Video opening screen must contain the following: Conference banner as provided by organizers, with the following wording: "Sponsored by 911truth.org and MUJCA-NET"

Audio introduction must contain the following information: "Recorded at 9/11: Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming Our Future; An International Education and Strategy Conference sponsored by 911truth.org and MUJCA-NET, held in Chicago, June 2-4, 2006"
