9/11 Conspiracies Fact or Fiction was generally a disappointment, due to its lack of factual content. Hurst Publications, owner of History Channel, has lowered the bar for Yellow Journalism (TM).

If you enjoy Popular Mechanics magazine, its hijacking of History Channel may also appeal to your preference for lack of technical information. I quit reading PopMech 30 years ago, due to my study of engineering, though it was okay for skipping class in the high school library, or waiting to have my gums scraped in a dentist's office.

Cover stories in PopMech include "Aliens Fact or Fantasy", "When UFOs Arrive What Will You Do", and "When Terrorists Go Nuclear", showing a nuke mushroom cloud at the World Trade Center in January 1996. Plus PopMech's 9/11 Lies cover story, which is the foundation of its 9/11 Conspiracies on History Channel. What did PopMech know and when did they know it?

This TV script was written for school children who lack technical and critical-thinking skills. At least it exposes viewers to the aroma of Truth. Bad publicity is better than no publicity. Unsubstantiated alibis are sufficient to send defendants to the executioner.

Co-owner of History Channel is NBC, employer of Lester Holt, narrator of 9/11 Conspiracies. NBC is co-owned by Carlyle Group, owned by Sir George Bush Sr Knight of the British Empire, his German cousin the Queen of England Elizabeth Sax Coberg Gotha, British prime ministers John Major and Tony Blair, the Saudi royal family, and the Bin Ladens. On September 11, 2001, George Bush Sr was eating breakfast with Shafig Bin Laden, brother of Usama, in Washington DC.

Members of Carlyle Group are currently sued for perping the 9/11 attacks. They are defended by James Baker, general counsel for Carlyle Group, the former secretary of state for Bush Sr who told Saddam Hussein it was okay to invade Kuwait.

The Jersey Girls were censored from 9/11 Conspiracies, as plaintiffs in that lawsuit. They have produced their own TV documentary, 9/11 Press For Truth.

Other 9/11 victims' and their families have sued the Jr Bush White House for perping the 9/11 massacres, including RICO Act litigation. Plaintiff Ellen Mariani was censored from 9/11 Conspiracies.

9/11 Conspiracies included video of World Trade Center 7 exploding and free-falling in 6 seconds, despite not being hit by an aircraft, and with only tiny fires. Physicist Dr Steven Jones was interviewed, but his laboratory finding of Thermite and Thermate was censored, as was video of Thermite lava pouring out of World Trade Center before its explosion and freefall. Australian Jew Larry Silverstein's confession to "pulling" WTC7 was included, for which he was paid $7-billion profit on his six-week rental contract. Contrary to PopMech's Davin Coburn, "PULL" is defined in Webster's Dictionary as "demolition", and defined on PBS TV as controlled demolition of WTC6, according to Controlled Demolition Inc.

Other productions on History Channel and A&E cover relevant background research, such as its feature on CDI bombing 7,000 government buildings in 2001, killer robot jetplanes like Global Hawk, Italian mobsters perping terrorist bombings in New York City during World War 2, Jewish mafia control of the Italian Mafia in New York for over 100 years, and Jewish historians reporting "Jewish" (non-Semitic) ancestry of the top Nazis during World War 2 (including Adolf Hitler Shicklegruber Rothschild and Reinhardt Heidrich, Gestapo director of the Final Solution). My website September 911 Surprise lists the names of those programs, which is perhaps why my URL was featured by History Channel on 9/11 Conspiracies.

9/11 Conspiracies is obviously an attempt to debunk these History Channel reports, by including a screenshot of "9/11 Jews Did It", without explaining that was a parody website by Jews. This week on CSPAN, Simon Weisenthal Center showed Congress a video of Adam Gadahn on TV [aka Adam Perlman], acting as Usama Bin Laden's official spokesperson. The Jewish Congresswoman confessed that Gadahn is "a good Jewish boy from California", while failing to mention that his parents and grandparents run the Jewish Anti Defamation League. ADL members were convicted of perping terrorist bombings of mosques in USA, and ADL paid millions of dollars for defamation under court order. Bin Laden was never indicted for 9/11, and he denied involvement, as reported by CNN, but he did say Jews did it, as reported by UPI. This House Committee on Homeland Security set up a Thoughtcrime Commission, to arrest all 9/11 Truthers as Islamofascist terrorists, for "Use of the Internet by Terrorists". The Jews also bragged about "counterterrorism through positive sites", which is use of fake websites to sow disinformation.

I do recommend purchase of 9/11 Conspiracies, if only to study propaganda and disinformation techniques. The sheer volume of censored historical facts is incredible. As a snapshot in history, it does have value for future historians. As a videotaped confession, it has value for prosecutors in warcrimes trials, of government employees and their co-conspirators in the media mafia. Those crimes are punishable by death.

The discrepancy in McClatchey's alleged photo is that it shows a smoke cloud shaped like a bomb blast, not a continous black cloud from a fuel fire, which must be half a mile wide if it actually came from the alleged crater. She lacked chain of custody, since FBI immediately confiscated her photo on her camera's computer chip, and seized her computer harddrive with photo editing software. McClatchey sued AP and AOL for using her photo without paying her, and she collected donations for "9/11 victims", without accounting for distribution of those funds. These facts were censored from 9/11 Conspiracies.

I never emailed, called or stalked Val McClatchey. She was personally interviewed by Wing TV, where she made some curious confessions. I have 50 websites and a weekly TV news broadcast, mostly about 9/11 crimes. I have two RSS sites that require use of a "blog" to post news reports for syndication. I do not allege that Flight 93 was "shot down by a conspiracy", but I do report a confession to shooting it down, as standard operating procedure when a nation is under attack.

I do not consider myself a "blogger". But I was employed by US Air Force, where my job was sabotage and controlled demolitions of US government buildings, US military aircraft, and US nuclear weapons, using C4 shaped charges of conventional explosives, TO DETONATE NUCLEAR BOMBS ON ACTIVE US MILITARY BASES. This is a common job for 1,000s of US soldiers. My job also included targeting nukes at WESTERN Europe. I'm also a licensed pilot, aircraft mechanic and manufacturer of homebuilt jet aircraft, with a education in mechanical engineering. My wife was personally offered a bribe, er, job by Secretary of War Dick Cheney during Gulf War #1, to work for him at the Pentagon, after we preferred criminal charges against her commanding officers for lying to Congress, resulting in the firing of USAF chief of staff General Michael Dugan, who was leading Desert Storm at the time. I had a class action lawsuit filed in federal court on 9/11/2001, suing Browning Ferris Industries and Skull and Bones mayor Victor Ashe, for running a car-theft operation, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, alma mater of CDI. BFI and CDI were paid a $3-billion contract to "demolish" WTC "after" 9/11, safely dispose of unexploded ordnance, and destroy the evidence. Ashe is now running torture camps for CIA, as ambassador to Poland. After 9/11, I filed felony charges against Ashe for stealing my cars. Note that The Pet Goat story, read to Bush Jr at Booker School on 9/11, was about car thieves.

The main reason for my inclusion in PopMech's 9/11 Lies, and its mockumentary on History Channel, was my questions posed to USAF Colonel Donn de Grand Pre, who named USAF pilot Rick Gibney, who confessed to shooting down Flight 93, and rewarded by Congress and the governor of North Dakota "for heroism on 9/11", and promoted from Major to Lt Col. Either Gibney shot down Flight 93 (with comatose crew and passengers hijacked by remote control, or a replacement robot drone), or the Pentagon staged a psyop fake shootdown (with Flight 93 landing at NASA's base in Cleveland, according the city's mayor). These questions were answered on the Alex Jones radio show, and in follow-up interviews of De Grand Pre, who published a book about it.



USAF Weapons Load Crew Says One of Our Missiles Is Missing

The following comment was posted to my blog today (I do not know who the author is -- he posted semi-anonymously; so decide for yourself whether or not you believe him):

"I am an Air Force veteran. I was serving at Langley AFB, Virginia on Sept. 11. (not to be confused with CIA headquarters at Langley, VA). The "Alert Squadron" of 4 F-16 Falcons also stationed at Langley AFB was scrambled AFTER the "plane" crashed into the Pentagon. Because of my position as a ground equipment mechanic, I had access to the flightline operations that day. My friends were Crew Cheifs and Weapons Loaders, among other professions on the flightline that day. One of my [unusual] duties that day was to drive a Loader (personal friend) along with a rack of live missiles (AIM-9's and AIM-120's) across the active runway to the Alert Squadron and drop them off. I was towing equipment to the flightline, so when it was time to go back and pick up the Loader (and our missile trailer) I was unable to do so, but another member of my Flight (a good friend, and later roommate) did go. According to my roommate (and I later confirmed with the Loader) the Loader was completely silent most of the trip back to our side of the base, after they crossed the active, he spoke. "They shot one down." JJ replied "WHAT?" Loader:"One of those 16's came back with one less missile than it left with" That was all. As they pulled back in to the squadron area, The loader was whisked away by his commanders for debriefing. I didn't see him for a few days, but when I did, he said he couldn't talk about it, but he confirmed that what my roommate had told me was true.

"The US Air Force shot down Flight 93. I haven't told this to many people. I told my parents and other family members shortly after I left the military. They didn't believe it. I figured no one else would either. I kept my mouth shut. Everyone was dedicated to the president and the country (not really) And anything that went against the Official, media delivered story was viewed as unpatriotic. I knew that I loved this country, so I kept my mouth shut. I just can't do that anymore. I know that I don't have any documents to prove it, and I have no way of knowing where the others involved are now days, so I can't prove anything. All I have is my word. and with God as my witness that is the truth."

CLEVELAND, OHIO - "A Boeing 767 out of Boston made an emergency landing Tuesday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport due to concerns that it may have a bomb aboard, said Mayor Michael R. White.

White said the plane had been moved to a secure area of the airport, and was evacuated.

United identified the plane as Flight 93. The airline [didn't] say how many people were aboard the flight.

United said it was also "deeply concerned" about another flight, Flight 175, a Boeing 767, which was bound from Boston to Los Angeles.

On behalf of the airline CEO James Goodwin said: "The thoughts of everyone at United are with the passengers and crew of these flights. Our prayers are also with everyone on the ground who may have been involved.

"United is working with all the relevant authorities, including the FBI, to obtain further information on these flights," he said."

"The Federal Aviation Administration had been informed at 9:45 a.m. of a possible hijacking or potential bombing of a plane headed for Cleveland, said FBI spokesman Mark Bullock. Cleveland Mayor Michael R. White also said during a morning news briefing that initial reports were that the plane had been hijacked and booby-trapped. He also said there were reports of "screaming in the air tower" from a second plane, which was diverted to Toledo. The scene inside the air traffic control tower yesterday morning at Hopkins was sober and calm as controllers brought down the Delta, a 767 from Boston, that was feared to have been sabotaged. The flight to Los Angeles landed at Hopkins at 10:45 a.m., and was directed to a secure area of the airport. The plane was evacuated of its 78 passengers shortly before 1 p.m. They were taken to NASA Glenn Research Center to be interviewed by FBI agents. (The center had been evacuated about an hour before.) No bomb was found after a thorough search by law enforcement agents and bomb -sniffing dogs."

On the morning of 9-11, for example, the Associated Press reported that United 93 made an emergency landing at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. According to the official version, however, Flight 93 crashed into a reclaimed mine near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, shortly after 10 a.m.

The AP story clearly reported that United had identified the plane that landed at Cleveland as Flight 93. Cleveland's Mayor Michael R. White reportedly said the plane had landed due to suspicion that it had a bomb aboard.

A second plane, identified as Delta 1989, was also reported to have landed at the Cleveland airport due to fears of sabotage. At a news conference, Mayor White identified the plane as a Boeing 767 flying from Boston to Los Angeles. It may be more than coincidence that both of the flights that allegedly struck the World Trade Center also originated at Boston's Logan Airport.

The Akron Beacon Journal reported that the mayor had stated that 200 passengers had been released from the plane at 11:15 a.m. The airport in Cleveland had been evacuated at 10 a.m. "Airline passengers and crew members were walking onto the highway to find their rides as no cars were allowed into the passenger drop off and pick up areas," the Journal reported.

The following day, Sept. 12, the Journal reported that an eyewitness had watched the Delta plane sitting near the I-X Center, which is a facility at the southeast edge of the airfield. It also reported that 78 passengers "were taken to NASA Glenn Research Center to be interviewed by FBI agents." The NASA facility is at the extreme northwest end of the airfield.

Dulce still points out, that something is odd with the serial numbers of Flight93 and Flight 175.

The serial numbers of the ORIGINAL planes are SAME serial numbers of the planes that ARE STILL FLYING. 591UA and 612UA.

Dulce argues, that though N-number can be transferred, the manufacturer serial number CANNOT be transferred.

According to some spot-witnesses, Boeing 757-222 SERIAL NUMBER 28142 is flying around Chicago under the alias 594UA.

According to the FAA, N594UA Boeing 757-222 flies now with a DIFFERENT serial number, namely 28145.

Something is fishy.

Also censored by PopMech is that its "9/11 researcher", Benjamin Chertoff, is the nephew of Michael Chertoff, Bush Jr's director of US Dept of Homeland Security, which grants immunity to 40-million illegal aliens, and employs 1,000s of illegal aliens as "airport security screeners". Michael Chertoff was born in Communist Czechoslovakia, and his mother was a founding member of the terrorist Mossad spy agency, which employs 1,000s of spies in USA, including Jewish bombers arrested in USA on 9/11/2001. Michael Chertoff is a citizen of Israel, which only allows Jews to immigrate and gain citizenship. Chertoff is translated from Russian as "son of the Devil".

US Department of Homeland Security confessed to staging a fake press conference, with FEMA employees posing as "journalists", asking fluff questions during the arson fires that destroyed 1,000s of homes in California.

Alex Jones of Infowars radio and Prison Planet TV, who was interviewed in 9/11 Conspiracies, has written his own rebuttal reviews.

All in all, 9/11 Conspiracies Fact or Fiction is fiction and propaganda, with a little Truth slipped in, for those capable of doing their own research. But essential viewing for your investigative library.

Until state grand juries start doing their jobs and indict the Jr Bush White House and their co-conspirators, and police arrest those conspirators and waterboard them at Gitmo until they confess, we will never know exactly how this dastardly crime was perpetrated. But we can make educated judgments based on facts already in evidence.

I look forward to future 9/11 deprogramming on History Channel, discussing the arrests, trials, confessions and sentencing of the Jr Bush White House. After all, Bush Jr has already been arrested four times, and convicted of drunk driving and cocaine, and demoted from pilot to mail clerk for AWOL, and sentenced to six months extra duty for desertion of Vietnam Wars. Bush Sr White House was sued under the RICO Act for terrorist bombings during Iran-Contra, with many convictions and pardons. But this time, not jail them like President Manuel Noriega, let's cut the heads off, as done to President Saddam Hussein. The 9/11 Conspiracy Trials can even be held in Nuremburg, to honor the three arrests of Prescott Bush under the Trading With The Enemy Act, for arming Nazi Germany during World War 2.

That will be great TV!

Jane Harman (D-CA), Chair of the Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing, and Terrorism Risk Assessment announced passage of H.R. 1955, the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007.”

SEC. 899A. DEFINITIONS.

`For purposes of this subtitle:

(3) HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.

SEC. 899B. FINDINGS.

(3) The Internet has aided in facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process in the United States by providing access to broad and constant streams of terrorist-related propaganda to United States citizens.

It also establishes a Center of Excellence for the Prevention of Radicalization and Home Grown Terrorism that will study the social, criminal, political, psychological and economic roots of the problem to provide further suggestions for action to address these dangers.

Chairman Thompson issued the following statement regarding the legislation:

“This vital legislation puts our nation on the path to addressing an emerging threat—homegrown terrorism. We simply don’t know how many ‘would-be terrorists’ are living right next door. Now we will have the ability to analyze our and other nations’ experience with this critical issue, propose and adopt recommendations for a safer America, and also protect civil rights and liberties of U.S. Citizens.”

Chair Harman added the following:

“The threat of a ‘Made in the USA’ suicide bomber has never been greater,” said Harman. “This bill, though not a silver bullet, will help develop a better understanding of the root causes of homegrown terrorism, and the steps we can take to stop it. We must intervene before a person crosses the line separating radical views from violent behavior, create an environment that discourages disillusionment and alienation, and instill in young people a sense of belonging and faith in the future.”

It is with deep concern that we are requesting both a clarification and a retraction regarding several remarks you made at the Homeland Security sub-committee hearing on Terrorism Risk Assessment held on 6 November 2007.

In reference to the content of your PowerPoint presentation, you stated, “The presentation begins with a look at how 9/11 is viewed in some eyes online, including those who applauded it as well as some conspiracies sites. The presence of the conspiracy site is significant, since so much of what passes as fact online is actually based on some form of conspiracy.” You later went on to say, “These people are constructing their own version of reality, full of conspiracy theories, full of doctored videos, that will recruit or inflame the emotions.”

Given that the explicit mission of the Simon Wiesenthal Center is to confront “hate and terrorism” by “promoting human rights and dignity…. and teaching the lessons of the Holocaust for future generations,” we find your flagrant use of the characterization ”these people” to not only be incongruent with your stated mission, but also a chilling reminder of the rhetoric used to demonize Jews, Catholics, homosexuals, gypsies, et. al. during the reign of the Third Reich in the early and mid-twentieth century. By “these people” are you referring to Mindy Kleinberg, Kristen Breitweiser, Patty Casazza and Lorie Van Auken, all widows after the 9/11 attacks who for 441 days battled against government apathy in bringing about a 9/11 investigation, whose stories and continued demands for answers are frequently referenced and who openly endorse many 9/11 websites? By “these people” are you likewise referring to Rabbi Michael Lerner, the prominent progressive Jewish activist who stated, “I salute the people … who are doing an amazing job of exposing what may prove to be one of the most perverse conspiracies in the history of democratic governments,” or are you referring to highly decorated USAF Lt. Col. Robert Bowman PhD, Director of Advanced Space Systems under presidents Jimmie Carter and Gerald Ford, who defines the actions of many in the current administration regarding government misconduct on 9/11 as being nothing short of treasonous, and who similarly endorses the research and activities of many 9/11 websites? Had we paid attention to the plight of “these people” in the 1930s, six million innocents might have been spared their horrific fate and the Holocaust might have been reduced to a perverse aberration.

Equally disturbing in your PowerPoint presentation is the juxtaposition of the website Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.org with Taliban recruitment sites detailing how to make bombs, take captives and blow up buildings. How and why you equate American architectural and engineering professionals examining the nature of the destruction of three American architectural icons with radical fringe elements of Islamic extremism is not only unfathomable, but can justifiably be construed as being motivated by malicious intent. Within the context of the liberties protected in our constitutional republic, the United States of America is the freedom of intellectual pursuit and the right to challenge our government, its policies, its actions and non-actions.

Again, public clarification by you and the Simon Wiesenthal Center regarding these misconstrued associations is in order. Concerned and patriotic citizens across the country are anxiously waiting for your response.

"Madam Speaker, I regret that I was unavoidably out of town on October 23, 2007, when a vote was taken on H.R. 1955, the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. Had I been able to vote, I would have voted against this misguided and dangerous piece of legislation. This legislation focuses the weight of the U.S. government inward toward its own citizens under the guise of protecting us against "violent radicalization.'' I would like to note that this legislation was brought to the floor for a vote under suspension of regular order. These so-called "suspension'' bills are meant to be non-controversial, thereby negating the need for the more complete and open debate allowed under regular order. It is difficult for me to believe that none of my colleagues in Congress view H.R. 1955, with its troubling civil liberties implications, as "non-controversial.'' There are many causes for concern in H.R. 1955. The legislation specifically singles out the Internet for "facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process'' in the United States. Such language may well be the first step toward U.S. government regulation of what we are allowed to access on the Internet. Are we, for our own good, to be subjected to the kind of governmental control of the Internet that we see in unfree societies? This bill certainly sets us on that course. This legislation will set up a new government bureaucracy to monitor and further study the as-yet undemonstrated pressing problem of homegrown terrorism and radicalization. It will no doubt prove to be another bureaucracy that artificially inflates problems so as to guarantee its future existence and funding. But it may do so at great further expense to our civil liberties. What disturbs me most about this legislation is that it leaves the door wide open for the broadest definition of what constitutes "radicalization.'' Could otherwise non-violent anti-tax, antiwar, or anti-abortion groups fall under the watchful eye of this new government commission? Assurances otherwise in this legislation are unconvincing. Legislation such as this demands heavy-handed governmental action against American citizens where no crime has been committed. Two years ago, he put out a report in a meeting in a 72-hour deliberation, a group of military and civilian U.S. pilots under the chairmanship of Col. Donn de Grand-Pre. After deliberating non-stop for 72-hours has concluded that the flight crews of the four passenger airliners involved in the September 11th tragedy had no control over the aircraft. And they get into how the military industrial complex clearly, that is elements of it, were in control of this. Colonel, we are going to go to some calls here in a minutes after you cover some other issues with us. But, understand this, my question of what percentage of the officers, period, in the military do you think have finally woken up to the true magnitude of what's going on?

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: Well, I'm in personal contact at least on a weekly basis with the Joint Chiefs and other select people. My computation is that 70% of us are with us. That's the higher ranking military, field grade officers, etc. and even the first three grades of the enlisted ' 70% are with us....

Alex Jones: "That's what the eye-witnesses said and the evidence shows. And do people realize that this was staged at the Pentagon? I mean obviously it's in an area that's under renovation and then all this happens. Do people at the Pentagon? are they still buying the official story, Colonel?"

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: "Well, I can't speak for the rest of them but I'm certainly not buying that. And I think I've got the full story in book 3. And that's it. It was a diversionary hit for strategic reasons and it didn't matter whether it was a pilotless drone or a Global Hawk missile. It wasn't a commercial aircraft."

Alex Jones: "It's the most surveilled area in the world but no video of it. Witnesses said they saw a small aircraft."

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: "No, they did not. We have [garbled] a video that purports to show a firing of a launch probably from a Global Hawk or an unmanned aircraft missile but it certainly wasn't a commercial aircraft."

John Lee "And was United Airlines Flight 93 shot down in Pennsylvania by a U.S. or NATO pilot, and was that what was supposed to hit the Pentagon [instead of American Airlines Flight 77]?"

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: No, that was hit at 10:00 hours. It was taken out by the North Dakota Air Guard. I know the pilot who fired those two missiles to take down 93.

John Lee Was it shot down because the airline pilots actually regained control of the hijacked auto-pilot, or was that to replace the unmanned drone that was shot down?

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: No, it was the aircraft, you see, had totally unconscious people on board. There were no hijackers. At 9:35, the Happy Hooligans, the Air Guard flying the F-16s were ordered to take that plane out. And they took it out from 9:35 to 10:00.

GRAMMATIKO, Greece - A Cypriot airliner crashed into a hill north of Athens on Sunday, killing all 121 people on board. Reports said at least one of the pilots was unconscious when the plane went down, possibly from lack of oxygen in the cabin. The Helios Airways flight HCY 522 was headed from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Athens International Airport when it crashed at 12:20 p.m. near the town of Grammatiko, about 25 miles north of the Greek capital, leaving flaming debris and luggage strewn across a ravine and surrounding hills.

The Boeing 737-300, carrying 115 passengers and six crew, was to have flown onto Prague, Czech Republic, after stopping in Athens.

"The fire is still burning and there are no survivors," fire chief Christos Smetis said.

The cause of the crash was unclear, but early indications were that it was a technical problem — possibly decompression — and not terrorism. The plane's black boxes, which contain flight data and voice recordings, had been recovered at the scene, state NET television reported.

"The first indications, in Cyprus and in Greece, are that it was not caused by a terrorist act," said Marios Karoyian, a spokesman for President Tassos Papadopoulos.

A man whose cousin was a passenger on the plane told Greece's Alpha television he received a cell-phone text message minutes before the crash. "He told me the pilots were unconscious. ... He said: "Farewell, cousin, here we're frozen," Sotiris Voutas said.

Two F-16 fighter jets were sent out shortly after the plane entered Greek air space over the Aegean Sea and did not respond to radio calls — a standard Greek practice. As they intercepted the airliner shortly before it crashed, the jet pilots saw one of the pilots slumped unconscious over the controls, Alpha TV reported. They also reported that there was no movement in the cabin.

Greek state television quoted Cyprus Transport Minister Haris Thrasou as saying the plane had decompression problems in the past.

David Kaminski Morrow, deputy news editor of the British-based Air Transport Intelligence magazine, said depressurization is extremely serious because its effects happen so quickly.

"If the aircraft is at 30,000 feet, you don't stay conscious for long, maybe 15 to 30 seconds. It is like standing on top of Mount Everest," he said. "But if you are down at 10,000 feet, you can breath for a lot longer."

Airplane cabins are usually pressurized at 8,000 feet.

Sudden loss of cabin pressure was blamed for a similar crash that took place in South Dakota on Oct. 25, 1999. A private Learjet 35 lost pressure, leaving pro golfer Payne Stewart and four others unconscious. The twin-engine jet went down in a pasture after flying halfway across the country on autopilot.

In the Greek crash, the only piece of the plane that remained intact was the tail section. Bits of human flesh, clothing, and luggage were scattered around the wreckage, which also started brush fires around the area.

Rescue helicopters flew overhead and firefighting planes swooped low to extinguish some of the fires. Fire trucks and ambulances crowded roads near the crash site and dark black smoke could be seen rising from various sites around the crash. A number of black-robed Greek Orthodox Christian were also on the scene.

Rescue officials were also looking for the plane's two black boxes, two orange-colored devices that record data from the plane and the voices of the pilots in the cockpit. They are designed to survive crashes.

"The Helios flight that crashed in the Athens area left Larnaca and was headed for Athens. The causes of the crash are not known," government spokesman Theodoros Roussopoulos said.

Rescue workers and residents on the scene said they had not found any survivors.

"There is wreckage everywhere. I am here, things here are very difficult, they are indescribable," Grammatiko Mayor George Papageorgiou said. "I am looking at back tail. The fuselage has been destroyed. It fell into a chasm and there are pieces. All the residents are here trying to help."

The head of the Greek airline safety committee, Akrivos Tsolakis, described it as the "worst accident we've ever had."

He speculated that there may have been a problem with the cabin pressure.

"There apparently was a lack of oxygen, which is usually the case when the cabin is de-pressurized," Tsolakis said.

Witnesses said they saw the plane being followed by the Greek air force jets when it crashed.

Greek radio and television stations reported that the air force pilots saw no movement in the cockpit of the plane before the crash. There were some reports the two pilots seemed to be unconscious.

"The plane crashed around 400 meters (yards) from homes in the area," said Miltiadis Merkouris, a spokesman for the Grammatiko municipality.

Helios Airways was founded in 1999 as Cyprus' first private airline. It operates a fleet of Boeing 737 jets to cities including London; Athens; Sofia, Bulgaria; Dublin, Ireland; and Strasbourg, France.

Greek Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis canceled a holiday on the Aegean island of Tinos to return to Athens to deal with the crash. Cypriot President Tassos Papadopoulos also canceled a vacation.

After the flight failed to contact air traffic control upon entering Greek air space, two F-16 fighter aircraft from the Hellenic Air Force 111th Combat Wing were scrambled from Nea Anchialos Air Base to establish visual contact. They noted that the aircraft appeared to be on autopilot. In accord with the rules for handling "renegade" aircraft incidents (where the aircraft is not under pilot control), one fighter approached to within 300 feet (100 m) of the ill-fated aircraft. The fighter pilot saw that the first officer was slumped motionless on the controls, and that the captain was not in the cockpit. Oxygen masks were seen dangling in the passenger cabin.

Later, the F-16 pilots saw a flight attendant enter the cockpit and sit at the controls, seemingly trying to regain control of the aircraft. He eventually noticed the F-16, and signalled him. The F-16 Pilot pointed forward as if to say, "can you carry on flying?" to which the flight attendant shook his head and pointed down as if to say, " no, we're going down". The CVR recorded him calling "mayday" multiple times. Within minutes, first one engine, then the second engine, stopped and the aircraft began to descend. The flight attendant grabbed the yoke and tried to steer the aircraft clear of the mountain. The plane continued to descend, hitting the ground and exploding. The passengers and crew were unconscious but breathing and were killed instantly as the plane hit the ground.

With 121 dead, this was 2005's worst aircraft crash to date (although it was exceeded only two days later by the West Caribbean Airways Flight 708 crash, which killed 160) and was the second accident of the year that caused more than 100 fatalities, the first being Kam Air Flight 904 with 104 deaths. It is the 69th crash of a Boeing 737 (the most numerous passenger jet aircraft in the world) since it was brought into service in 1968.

Authorities served a search warrant on Helios Airways headquarters in Larnaca, Cyprus and seized "documents or any other evidence which might be useful in the investigation of the possibility of penal offences."

Most of the bodies recovered were burned beyond visual identification by the fierce fires that raged for hours in the dry brush and grass covering the crash site. However, it was determined that a body found in the cockpit area was that of a male flight attendant[4] and DNA testing revealed that the blood on the aircraft controls was that of flight attendant Andreas Prodromou, a pilot-in-training with approximately 260-270 hours under his belt. Autopsies on the crash victims showed that all were alive and maintained cardiac and respiratory function upon impact, but it could not be determined whether they were conscious at the time.

During the two months before the crash, the aircraft's Environmental Control System required repair five times.[5] On the morning of the crash, after the aircraft arrived at Larnaca on a flight from the United Kingdom, the cabin crew complained about an abnormal noise coming from its rear door. Inspection by Helios engineers disclosed no problem and the aircraft was allowed to take off without any repairs.[2] In retrospect, the noise is consistent with faulty sealing of the door that would allow gradual decompression of cabin air as the aircraft gained altitude, resulting in initially subtle but increasing cognitive dysfunction among the flight crew and delay in recognising the danger until it was too late.

The preliminary investigation reports state that the maintenance performed on the aircraft had left the pressurization control on a 'manual' setting, in which the aircraft would not pressurise automatically on ascending; the pre-takeoff check had not disclosed nor corrected this. As the aircraft passed 10,000 feet (3,000 metres), the cabin altitude alert horn sounded. The horn also sounds if the aircraft is not properly set for take off, e.g. flaps not set, and thus it was assumed to be a false warning. The aircrew found a lack of a common language and inadequate English a hindrance in solving the problem. The aircrew called maintenance to ask how to disable the horn, and were told where to find the circuit-breaker. The pilot left his seat to see to the circuit breaker and both aircrew lost consciousness shortly afterwards.

The aircraft underwent maintenance on the night prior to the accident. The pressurisation system was checked, but after completion of the tests the Pressurisation Mode Selector (PMS) was reportedly left in the "Manual" position instead of the "Auto" mode. In manual mode the crew had to manually open or close the outflow valves in order to control the cabin pressure. The outflow valves were one-third in the open position which meant that the cabin would not pressurize after takeoff. The PMS mode was apparently not noted during the pre-departure checks by the crew.

One year after the accident, the Discovery Channel aired a documentary detailing a private investigation made in cooperation with Advanced Aviation Technology Ltd. It presented evidence that a design failure of the Boeing 737 may have contributed to the accident. Contrary to the concept of redundancy, all wiring related to the pressure system were in one wiring loom to the outflow valve in the aft of the aircraft. A failure in this loom caused a pressurization incident with a Boeing 737-436 G-DOCE in May 2003. During this incident the pressurisation control system presented wrong indications to the pilots and was finally switched to manual position like found in the Helios 522 wreckage.

News media widely reported that shortly before the crash a passenger sent a SMS transmission indicating that one of the flight crew had become blue in the face, or roughly translated as "The pilot is dead. Farewell, my cousin, here we're frozen." Police later arrested Nektarios-Sotirios Voutas, a 32 year-old private employee from Thessaloniki, who admitted that he had made up the story and given several interviews in order to get attention.[8] Voutas was tried by a court of first instance on 17 August 2005 and received a suspended 6-month imprisonment sentence under a 42-month probation term.[9] The hoax was treated so seriously because it contradicts accepted knowledge of cabin-pressure emergencies and such false information could lead to fatalities and serious harm if people "accepted" the falsities of the hoax.

Another hoax involved photographs allegedly showing the aircraft being chased by Greek fighter jets. The photos were actually of a Helios 737-800 (rather than the crashed 737-300) with the registration altered and the fighter jets added.

The company renamed itself from "Helios Airways (www.flyhelios.com)" to "ajet (www.ajet.com)".

The Government of the Republic of Cyprus detained Ajet’s aircraft and froze the company’s bank accounts. Ajet no longer operates flights as of 06/11/2006.

Relatives of victims of the 2005 Helios air crash near Athens have filed a 76 million € lawsuit against aircraft manufacturer Boeing. The lawsuit was filed in an Athens court by relatives of 17 of the victims. They petitioned for damages against the U.S.-based maker of the Boeing 737-300 aircraft. The plaintiffs said that Boeing was responsible for a series of design errors including faulty warning signals that led to fatal mistakes by the pilots of the aircraft.

The 1999 South Dakota Learjet crash involved a chartered Learjet 35 flying between Orlando, Florida and Dallas, Texas. Early in the flight, the aircraft was cruising at altitude on autopilot and gradually lost cabin pressure. As a result, all on board died of hypoxia, a lack of oxygen. The aircraft continued its flight over the southern and midwestern United States for almost four hours and 1,500 miles, until it ran out of fuel and crashed into a field near Aberdeen, South Dakota after an uncontrolled descent. Among the six people on board were golf star Payne Stewart and Bruce Borland, a highly-regarded golf architect with the Jack Nicklaus golf course design company.

At 1327:13Z, the controller from the Jacksonville ARTCC instructed the pilot to climb and maintain flight level (FL) 390 (39,000 feet above sea level). At 1327:18Z (0927:18 EDT), the pilot acknowledged the clearance by stating, "three nine zero bravo alpha." This was the last known radio transmission from the airplane, and occurred while the aircraft was passing through 23,000 feet. The next attempt to contact the aircraft occurred six minutes, 20 seconds later (14 minutes after departure), with the aircraft at 36,500 feet, and the controller's message went unacknowledged. The controller attempted to contact N47BA five more times in the next 4˝ minutes, again with no answer.

About 1454Z (now 0954 CDT due to the flight's crossing into the Central Time zone), a U.S. Air Force F-16 test pilot from the 40th Flight Test Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, who happened to be in the air nearby, was directed by controllers to intercept N47BA. When the fighter was about 2,000 feet from the Learjet, at an altitude of about 46,400 feet, the test pilot made two radio calls to N47BA but did not receive a response. The F-16 pilot made a visual inspection of the Lear, finding no visible damage to the airplane. Both engines were running, and the plane's red rotating Anti-collision beacon was on (standard operation for aircraft in flight). The fighter pilot could not see inside the passenger section of the airplane because the windows seemed to be dark. Further, he stated that the entire right cockpit windshield was opaque, as if condensation or ice covered the inside. He also indicated that the left cockpit windshield was opaque, although several sections of the center of the windshield seemed to be only thinly covered by condensation or ice; a small rectangular section of the windshield was clear, with only a small section of the glare shield visible through this area. He did not see any flight control movement. About 1512Z, the F-16 pilot concluded his inspection of N47BA and broke formation, proceeding to Scott AFB, Illinois.

At 1613Z, almost three hours into the flight of the unresponsive Learjet, two F-16s from the Oklahoma Air National Guard (ANG), flying under the call-sign "TULSA 13 flight", were directed by the Minneapolis ARTCC to intercept. The TULSA 13 lead pilot reported that he could not see any movement in the cockpit, that the windshield was dark and that he could not tell if the windshield was iced. A few minutes later, a TULSA 13 pilot reported, "We're not seeing anything inside, could be just a dark cockpit though...he is not reacting, moving or anything like that he should be able to have seen us by now." At 1639Z, TULSA 13 left to rendezvous with a tanker for refueling. The aircraft's altitude varied from 22,000 feet to 51,000 feet.

About 1650Z, two North Dakota ANG F-16s with the identification "NODAK 32 flight" were directed to intercept N47BA. TULSA 13 flight also returned from refueling, and all four fighters maneuvered close to the Lear. The TULSA 13 lead pilot reported, "We've got two visuals on it. It's looking like the cockpit window is iced over and there's no displacement in any of the control surfaces as far as the ailerons or trims." About 1701Z, TULSA 13 flight returned to the tanker again, while NODAK 32 remained with N47BA.

At 1711:01Z, the Lear began a right turn and descent. One NODAK 32 airplane remained to the west, while one TULSA 13 airplane broke away from the tanker and followed N47BA down. At 1211:26 CDT, the NODAK 32 lead pilot reported, "The target is descending and he is doing multiple aileron rolls, looks like he's out of control...in a severe descent, request an emergency descent to follow target." The TULSA 13 pilot reported, "It's soon to impact the ground he is in a descending spiral."[1]

Impact occurred approximately 1713Z, or 1213 local, after a total flight time of 3 hours, 54 minutes, with the aircraft hitting the ground at a nearly supersonic speed and an extreme angle.[3] The Learjet crashed just outside of Mina, South Dakota, in Edmunds County on relatively flat ground, and left a crater 42 feet long, 21 feet wide and 8 feet deep. None of its components remained intact.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has several levels of investigation, the highest of which is a "major" investigation. In the last 10 years, the NTSB has conducted 35 major investigations of aircraft crashes. Because of the extraordinary circumstances in this crash, a major investigation was performed.

John Lee: Were there any refueling jets involved in that operation?

Alex Jones: Hold on a second, John. The question is why would they deviate from the plan of flying it into the Capitol? Why did the globalists decide to go ahead and shoot the plane down?

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: There had been an adjustment to the controls, probably by an AWACs aircraft flying overhead, again, remote control. And it was on a course for either the Capitol or the White House. And at this stage, you don't know. The Happy Hooligans came in and took care of it.

Alex Jones: Do you think they were not following orders?

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: Who, the Happy Hooligans?

Alex Jones: Well, yeah, you've got Cheney running around, we've got the stand down taking place.

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: Well, this is correct, but you see the Adj. General of the State of North Dakota gave the command to take it out. And, by God, they took it out. And I've got the full story in the book.

Alex Jones: That's a good thing they did that. You said you talked to the pilot. Think about this folks. Imagine what Bush would have gotten if he would have had that plane fly into the Capitol? Imagine the police state we would be in right now.

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: Yes, yes, yes, indeed.

Alex Jones: And so you had to have the diversionary blast at the Pentagon so no one would get suspicious and think it was a military coup.

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: Perhaps, perhaps.

Alex Jones: John, does that answer your question?

John Lee Were there any refueling tankers used by the North Dakota Air Guard and what tanker wing was used?

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: I don't know about the aircraft itself. I don't know about refueling. They came off base in Langley and it was just a few minutes out from Langley to the intercept over Pennsylvania. It was just a matter of minutes.

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: It turned out to be an old friend of mine from the Air National Guard and this is my home state of North Dakota. And I attended the ceremony in North Dakota and watched the Adj. General [garbled] the pilot being decorated a year later for this activity that happened on 911 with Flight 93.

Colonel Donn de Grand Pre: Okay, quick rundown. They were out of Hector Field, Fargo, North Dakota. A bunch, this 119 Fighter Group and they are called the Happy Hooligans. They are probably the best interceptors that we have in the country. They were moved to Langley Air Force Base from Hector Field down to Southern Virginia. And when the klaxon horn went off at 9:35, those two pilots put down their coffee and shot into their aircraft and took off. They didn't know where they were going initially but by 10:00 hours, they had rendezvoused over Southern Pennsylvania. That's about 250 miles in just a matter of minutes and engaged 93 with two side-winder missiles. And they accomplished their objective. Now Hector Field, I use to fly out of Hector Field some time ago. I know most of those pilots. I could name names. I know the National Guard Adj. General. And they were decorated about a year later and I have the full write up of that story in my book.

Alex Jones: Yeah and it's just ignored by the media. I have that article, too. And later, well okay, it was a missile, well there wasn't "Let's Roll." It's all made-up theatre for the public and we buy it like a bunch of saps.

"The Boeing 767 tanker transport aircraft, designated KC-767 for the US Air Force, is a high performance version of the 767-200ER twin aisle jetliner equipped for fully integrated tanker operations. It is fitted with either boom and receptacle refuelling, hose and drogue refuelling or both. The commercial 767 first entered service in 1982 and more than 880 aircraft have been delivered. The cabin of the tanker can be configured for passenger transport, as a freighter, convertible (passenger or freighter) or Combi (passenger and freighter). In the 1980s and in 1990/91 Boeing conducted studies directed towards the identification of an appropriate successor to the KC-135 Stratotanker, a derivative of the Boeing 707 jetliner. In 1991 the 707 production line was finally closed and studies confirmed that the long range twin engine 767 was a strong candidate to replace the KC-135. In May 2003, the US Air Force announced that it would lease 100 tankers to replace the oldest of its KC-135 tankers, subject to congressional approval. A Defense Science Board review of the USAF proposed lease is being undertaken and a decision on the deal is expected from the Secretary of Defense in May 2004. Boeing will produce the KC-767 aircraft at its Everett, Washington plant and then complete the tanker modifications at its Wichita Development and Modification Center. In July 2001, the Italian Air Force ordered four 767 tanker transports in the Combi variant with first deliveries scheduled for 2005. The aircraft will be designated B-767 and Alenia Aeronautica will assist in development and production. In April 2003, the Japanese Air Self-Defence Force ordered the first of four of the convertible freighter variant for delivery from 2007. Boeing was part of a consortium bidding to provide the 767-300ER for the Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft (FSTA) for the UK Ministry of Defence. The consortium, Tanker & Transport Service Company Ltd, also included BAE Systems, Serco and Spectrum Capital. The MOD selected the Airbus A330-200 in February 2004. The structure incorporates new materials such as improved aluminium alloys, graphite composites and hybrid Kevlar graphite composites, which give enhanced strength, durability and longevity. The configuration of a commercial 767 for the tanker transport role involves the installation of additional pumps and auxiliary fuel tanks together with the fuel distribution lines below the floor of the main cabin, leaving the main cabin free for cargo, passenger or both cargo and passenger transportation. The concept allows simultaneous refuelling and airlift operations or successive refuelling and airlift missions. In the cargo configuration, the aircraft can transport 19 standard military 463-L pallets; in the passenger configuration, 200 passengers can be accommodated; and in the Combi configuration ten cargo pallets and 100 passengers can be carried. The 767 Tanker Transport aircraft has an advanced two person all-digital flight deck. Smiths Aerospace supply the mission control system which interfaces with the refuelling system. The control system is a derivative of the flight management system on the commercial Boeing 737. Innovative Solutions & Support Inc. will supply the flat panel Pilot's Mission Display (PMD) and Aerial Refuelling Operator Control Display (AROCD). Rockwell Collins will supply the communications and navigation suite. Kaiser Electro-optics (a Rockwell Collins company) will supply head-mounted display systems for the Remote Aerial Refuelling Operator. The 767 tanker transport will be equipped with military avionics, navigation and communications and an optional defensive aids suite with radar warning receivers and electronic and opto-electronic countermeasures. The 767 aircraft can be modified to accommodate refuelling wingpods and a centre line hose for probe and drogue refuelling. Smiths Aerospace supply the hydraulically-powered hose and drogue refuelling system. The fuselage can also be fitted with a centerline refuelling boom for boom and receptacle refuelling missions. Boeing will produce the boom itself and Smiths the boom actuation system. The 767 will accommodate any combination of these configurations. The boom can refuel at the rate of 600 gallons/min, the centreline hose at 600 gallons/min and the wingpods at 400 gallons/min. The USAF air fuel transfer method is through the boom and receptacle air refuelling technique. The US Navy, the US Marines and NATO aircraft have traditionally used the hose and drogue air refuelling method. Aircraft using hose and drogue refuelling include US Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and USMC AV-8B Harrier Plus aircraft. Aircraft using the flying boom refuelling system include the USAF F-111, F-15, F-16, the UK Eurofighter and the French F-1 Mirage. Future aircraft such as the Joint Strike Fighter will be developed for the optional installation of either refuelling system according to the customer country's operational requirements. Tankers are fitted with tactical floodlights on the engine pylons, wing pods and the boom area to assist night-time refuelling operations. The drogue itself is fitted with small lights around the perimeter to help night operations. New generation highly ruggedised and impact resistant air-to-air refuelling drogues have been fitted with gaseous tritium lights with no wires or moving parts. The two turbofan podded engines are mounted below the leading edges of the wings. 767 tankers for the Italian Air Force and the Japanese Air Self Defence Force will be equipped with GE Aircraft Engines CF6-80C2 engines, rated at 276kN. In March 2004, Boeing announced that the Pratt & Whitney PW4062 engine, rated at 282kN, would be the standard production engine for the USAF and future aircraft. The 767 aircraft is also the platform for the 767AWACS Airborne Warning and Control System, in service with the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) since May 2000."

"Hijacking attampts against US civil air and surface craft should be encouraged. It is possible to create an incident which would demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civilian airliner from the United States. An aircraft at Eglin AFB [10 separate landing strips on one giant base in the jungle] would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be subsituted for the actual civil aircraft and the passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone. Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rondevous. From the rondevous point the passenger-carrying aircraft will descend to minimum altitude and go directly to an auxiliary airfield at Eglin AFB where arrangements will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the aircraft to its original status. Meanwhile the drone aircraft will continue to fly the filed flight plan. The drone will be transmitting on the international distress frequency "MAY DAY" message stating it is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission will be interrupted by the destruction of aircraft which will be triggered by radio signal. This will allow IACO radio stations to tell the US what has happened to the aircraft instead of the US trying to 'sell' the incident. It is possible to create an incident that will make it appear that Communist Cuban MIGs have destroyed a USAF aircraft over international waters in an unprovoked attack. On one such flight, a pre-briefed pilot would fly Tail-end Charlie. While near the Cuban island this pilot would broadcast that he had been jumped by MIGs and was going down. This pilot would then fly at extremely low altitude and land at a secure base, an Eglin auxiliary. The aircraft would be met by the proper people, quickly stored and given a new tail number. The pilot who performed the mission under an alias would resume his proper identity. The pilot and aircraft would then have disappeared. A submarine or small craft would distribute F-101 parts, parachute, etc. The pilots retuning to Homestead would have a true story as far as they knew. Search ships and aircraft could be dispatched and parts of aircraft found."

"The military has been flying planes and landing them safely by remote control for years, but airline pilots say questions about security must be answered before that technology is used aboard commercial jetliners to thwart hijackers the way President Bush suggested Thursday during a speech in Chicago. 'We will look at all kinds of technologies to make sure that our airlines are safe,' Bush said at O'Hare International Airport, 'including technology to enable controllers to take over distressed aircraft and land it by remote control.' Pilots said after the speech that though they support other proposals for airplane security that Bush outlined, the idea of aircraft being remotely controlled concerns them. 'If the good guys can take control of the plane' from the ground, said John Mazor, a spokesman for the Air Line Pilots Association, 'maybe the bad guys can take control of it too.' Taking control of a hijacked aircraft from the ground appears to be less feasible than other measures, he said. 'We would view that as a very--very--long-term type of undertaking,' Mazor said. 'There are enormous technical difficulties in trying to rig up an aircraft for that.' But companies that have designed such systems for the military say it wouldn't be difficult to adapt the technology for commercial aircraft. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. developed a remote-controlled reconnaissance plane for the Air Force called Predator, which flew in Bosnia during the conflict there. Used by the military since 1994, it can be landed by pilots linked by satellite using controls on the ground or ordering an onboard computer to do the job. Tom Cassidy, president and CEO of the San Diego company, said he sent Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta a letter shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks. 'Such a system would not prevent a hijacker from causing mayhem on the aircraft or exploding a device and destroying the aircraft in flight,' the letter said, 'but it would prevent him from flying the aircraft into a building or populated areas.' Cassidy said Thursday that a pilot aboard a commercial airliner could turn the plane's guidance over to ground controllers at the press of a button, preventing a hijacker--or anyone else aboard--from flying the plane. That system also would keep people on the ground from taking control of a plane away from the pilot, Cassidy said, because the pilot would first have to give up control. Aircraft anywhere in the nation could be remotely controlled from just one or two locations using satellite links, Cassidy said. Those locations could be heavily fortified against terrorists. 'The technology is available,' Cassidy said. 'We use it every day.'"

"A Boeing 767 out of Boston made an emergency landing Tuesday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport due to concerns that it may have a bomb aboard, said Mayor Michael R. White. White said the plane had been moved to a secure area of the airport, and was evacuated. United identified the plane as Flight 93. The airline did not say how many people were aboard the flight. United said it was also 'deeply concerned' about another flight, Flight 175, a Boeing 767, which was bound from Boston to Los Angeles. On behalf of the airline CEO James Goodwin said: 'The thoughts of everyone at United are with the passengers and crew of these flights. Our prayers are also with everyone on the ground who may have been involved. United is working with all the relevant authorities, including the FBI, to obtain further information on these flights,' he said."

According to some spot-witnesses, Boeing 757-222 SERIAL NUMBER 28142 is flying around Chicago under the alias 594UA. According to the FAA, N594UA Boeing 757-222 flies now with a DIFFERENT serial number, namely 28145. Something is fishy."

"A warrant charging the 134 Air Refueling Wing commander with driving under the influence of alcohol is on file at the Loudon County Sheriff's Office in connection with a Dec. 18 traffic stop. According to Loudon County Sheriff Tim Guider, truck drivers helped Deputy Jason Scott stop Col. John Keenan near mile marker 76 on Interstate 75. A blood-alcohol test showed the veteran military officer had a 0.38 blood-alcohol level, well above the legal limit of 0.08 and enough to cause someone to go into a comatose state, the sheriff said. Keenan is being treated at an undisclosed medical facility. Col. Tim Deering is currently acting commander of the 134th Air Refueling Wing at McGhee Tyson Airbase. Guider said this is apparently Keenan's first offense and that when he's released from medical care, he'll be taken into custody. The Loudon County warrant states that Scott was dispatched on a call of a reckless driver headed southbound on I-75. The vehicle was not speeding. Deputies couldn't determine if he was under the influence of alcohol because he didn't smell like he had been drinking, but was very disoriented, Guider said. The sheriff said Scott called for an ambulance to transport Keenan to the emergency room at Fort Sanders Medical Center-Loudon. Major General Gus L. Harriet, adjutant general of The Tennessee Air National Guard, released the following statement: 'We are certainly aware of the situation concerning the commander of the 134th Air Refueling Wing. We have taken the appropriate steps to ensure that Tennessee Air National Guard Operations continue as normal at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard base. Col. Tim Deering is the acting commander.'"
